2.
ANXIETY
The information cannot get through under pressure.
In order to stay away from the source of anxiety, the students look away.
Seem to ignore the teacher.
3.
PROCESSING
LD students need time to process the question being asked.
After they have figured out the question, they might feel confident to answer it.
4.
RISK-TAKING
Without rewards or recognition students will not take risks.
Volunteering needs to be rewarded in order to have students participate in class.
5.
VISUAL PERCEPTION
Not related to motivation.
The use of direct instruction will facilitate the learning process.
What the students need is a teacher.
6.
READING COMPREHENSION
Have to do with background instead of vocabulary knowledge.
Direct instruction is needed.
7.
ORAL EXPRESSION
Speaking as an associative task.
Allow students enough time to process their thoughts in writing first.
After writing down their thoughts, it will get easier to orally communicate their thoughts.
8.
READING AND DECODING
LD students will decode, but will not understand what they are reading.
The use of colors and different fonts can help the students understand the passage.
9.
FAIRNESS
Everyone get what they need.
Not all students need the same.
