Digital Learning Coach

Purpose of the Grant

• Build capacity in teachers' knowledge and skills of innovative ways to engage learners
• Build capacity in students to be career or college ready
• Foster the district goals of SEL and Literacy through tools and resouces

Coaching Model

• Educators set goals at the beginning of the year with DLC
• Monthly paid PD
• One to one coaching support from DLC
• DLC models strategies and tools for educators
• DLC collaborates in PLCs and provides input

Grant Expectations

• 80% of certified staff opt in
• Opt in staff attend monthly paid PD
• Opt in staff create goals with DLC
• DLC is on campus 4 days per week
• Opt in staff provide evidence of implementation

What's In it for Me?

• Full time coach (4 days per week)

• Paid Summer Camp Opportunity

Paid Summer Camp

• Educators may select to attend paid summer camps to learn more about resources and tools for engaging students
• ($30 per hour for 4 hours per day for 4 days = $480)
• Drawings will be held daily to receive an iPad or other device (more info to come)
