• Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, homosexual, non-binary, etc.
• The list is long, but the bottom line is: LGBT+ people are normal people like everyone else

HUMAN RIGHTS

• Nonetheless, human rights are still violated
• LGBT+ people suffer from discrimination, incl. hate speech and hate crime

FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN

• Prejudice and stigma are born out of ignorance and intolerance
• Acceptance and tolerance come not only with awareness of, but with knowledge about the unknown

ALWAYS REMEMBER

• Gender identity and sexuality are not based on choice
• Gender identity and sexuality are not pieces of clothes that you can take off
• Gender identity and sexuality define who you are
• Using correct terminology equals respecting the individual
