• Coach at the high school level as an assistant in football and basketball for twelve years
• Fifth year as head girls basketball coach at Albany Area Schools

Purpose for Taking this Course

• My overall purpose for taking this course is to improve as a leader by learning from others.
• Taking this course takes another step towards earning an Educational Leadership Masters Degree.

Expected Outcomes

• I hope that this course increases my ability to reflect on my personal actions as a leader.
• By understanding myself, I hope to improve as a leader that is effective at supporting organizational groups.

Professional goals

• My most immediate goal is to enhance my effectiveness as an educator and coach.
• I plan to continue my education in administrative certifications.
• In the longterm, I plan to seek employment as an athletic director, principal, and superintendent.

Availability Notes

• My school day begins at 8am and have 7:30am meetings at times.
• I coach 9th grade football. We have games after school on Thursdays at 4:00pm and Friday evenings.
• We practice after school Monday-Wednesday until 5:30pm.
