The people that are involved is the Turkish government and the Armenians, the Armenians are the victims and they are being killed because of their religion. What I believe should have happened in the past was that we should have thought equally of each other and not kill millions of people because of their religion.
The Turkish government wanted to kill off all Christians in the Ottoman Empire and most Christians were Armenian. All this began on April 24, 1915. Children, adults and all Christians were either burned poisoned or any other way to make sure they aren't alive.
The Armenians didn't want to convert to the Turk's heritage. The perpetrator was Abdul hamid the second, he had about 200,500,000 Armenians killed in the late 1800s. The young Turks wanted to get rid of all Christians. Since the Armenians were Christian they were the Turks main target.
What makes your example of genocide the most in need of aid?
The actions taking place reflect the definition of genocide by the Turks tried to wipe out all the Christians which were Armenian. The three most shocking facts relating to my genocide are that the Turks have killed around 1.5 million Armenians. The second is that most women drowned themselves in the river to avoid getting raped. The last most shocking fact was that they would hang the soldiers and cut their heads off and use them as trophies. These facts prove that this genocide needs aid because people were being killed of their religion and they are killing themselves because they are Afraid of what the future will bring to them.
- Innocent people are being killed because of their religion. - Many people will be saved if the genocide will be stopped. This genocide will be stopped if the military is involved and if the people would stand up for themselves the genocide would have a chance of being stopped and the Turks and Armenians will be equal and the number of deaths will be lowered. - Something that I want my audience to remember is that there is a chance of the genocide being stopped and that we need to at least try to save these people that are running out of time to live.
