CLIMATE

• The weather there is tropical but in winter it rains a lot, the best time to go there is in December when it is cool, dry and sunny outside. In other months it might be a bit hotter outside.

FRENCH INFLUENCE

• Being both an English- speaking and French- speaking nation Mauritius is a member of both the commonwealth of nations and la Francophonie. They started speaking French their when two prisoners wanted to communicate so they started speaking French so the English fairs wouldn't understand what they were saying.😮

CULTURE

• In Mauritius, Hindus,Tamils, Muslims, Christians, Buddhists and others from all over the globe live in harmony and respect each other.
• Music is a big part of Mauritius culture, the main styles of music in Mauritius are séga, reggae and seggae. If you plan to go there make sure to pack short summer dresses and summer clothing.
