• I was kidnapped when I was12 and taken to another tribe.
• I was being held and not seeing people.
• I was sold to my husband.
• His name was Toussaint Charbonneau and he was a trapper.

Working

• I helped men trade.

• I had a baby.

Group On the Way

• My group was peaceful and hard workers.
• We loved to help explorers.
• Me and my group helped many people.

Lewis and Clark

• My husband and I were hired to go and help Lewis and Clark explore the west.
• I helped find food like roots and berries.
• Our boat sank and I dove in the water and saved the important papers.

Coming Back

• During the trip I returned to my village I was kidnapped from and saw my family again.
• I could not stay with my family.
• When I came back in 1806, I did not see my people in the village.
