INVESTIGATING THROUGH STEM
PRIMARY COMPUTING OFSTED 2019
- Intent: Focus on the curriculum and aspirations for learners. All learners should study an ambitious curriculum that is rich in both knowledge and skills and offer suitable progression across the school.
- Implementation : This is about how teachers do their job and how leaders support them, and focuses on assessment and feedback, pedagogy subject knowledge, and quality of teaching
- Impact: this looks at how learners develop their knowledge and skills across the curriculum and as a result their achievement

- Opportunities: extracurricular activities going on school trips, entering events and competitions talks by and visit to employers and educational providers
INTERNET SAFETY
- Predominately delivered within the computer lessons with a focus at the start of every academic year on the Schools acceptable use policy
- The views of both pupils and parents on a computing curriculum and technology usage in school should be regularly sought
- Online safety should be discussed with parents at a range of events taking place throughout the academic year
