Creation Stories

The Christian and Islamic creation stories are very similar and also have the same concepts but there are minor and subtle differences.

Both religions believe that God created the world and the heavens and they both believe that adam was the first man on the earth.

Christian Creation Story.... they believe

• That God create the world and all living things
• That God sent Jesus to tell people about him
• That Jesus died to forgive humanity’s sins
• That Jesus will return at the end of time
• That humans are the most important thing of all of God’s creations
• That Eve came Adam’s rib
• That Eve was tempted by a serpent

Islamic Creation Story.... they believe

• That Muhammad, who was born in Mecca, is their prophet
• That eve came from Adam’s side
• That eve was tempted by an evil “one”
• That god took Adam to live in paradise
