CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER

Steam Engine
In 1712, Thomas Newcomen invented the first of many steam engines. Although it wasn't as useful as later engines. It started the Steam engine creation. It would later be improved on by James Watt.

Spinning Jenny
In 1764, James Hargreaves invented the Spinning Jenny to aid the textile industry spin cloth quicker.

Cotton Gin
In 1794, Eli Whitney created the Cotton Gin to make it easier to separate cotton from the seeds.

Telegraph
In 1844, Samuel Morse invented the telegraph, which was capable of sending messages quickly over a wire connecting two telegraphs.

Sewing Machine
In 1846, Elias Howe created the sewing machine to help people make their clothes quicker because during the time people made clothes at home.

Elevator Safety Brake
In 1853, Elisha Otis came up with the Elevator break because people were wary of elevator cars falling, thus inventing the elevator safety brake.

Bessemer Method
In 1855, Henry Bessemer came up with a way to make steel out of iron. Making a faster way to produce steel.

Dynamite
In 1866, Alfred Nobel creates Dynamite to blast holes in mountains that way it's safer and quicker.

In 1870, Chemist Louis Pasteur used information known to invent vaccines to prevent diesease.

In 1879, Thomas Edison used the lightbulb to power a lamp.

I believe the steam engine is important because it started the idea of vehicles that weren't powered by horses.

Vaccines are important because without it humans would constantly have a diesease.

The cotton gin is important because it allows us to harvest cotton quicker, so we have material to make clothing.

The lamp is important because it allows to us to make certain areas brighter if we need to. For example, if a desk is dark you can move the lamp towards that area.

The Bessemer method is important because it lets us obtain steel faster to build structures, which makes the structure stable compared to resources like wood.

Dynamite is important be it allows us to find raw materials, and clear land faster and safer than doing by hand.
