Adult salmon live in the ocean. During this stage adult salmon develop enough weight for spawning. Adult salmon adapt to the salt water as they travel along the coastline.

Needs:
Adult salmon feed on squid, shrimp and small fish like zooplankton. When it is fall, adult salmon travel back to where they were born.

Predators:
Adult salmon have many predators like sea lions, orcas, and larger fish like tuna and cod.

Threats:
Fisherman catch salmon in modern and traditional ways;recreational fishers catch many salmon using hooks, by luring them and with single fishing lines.
