WHAT HAVE I LEARNT?

PHOTO SHOP
I have improved massively from my school prospectus as that was only my second time of using photo shop

I have learnt many things on photo shop...

I have learnt how to

• Add a variety of different texts, photos etc
• Change the filters on photos
• Change background colours
• How to make certain important information stand out
• Cut out people from photographs

• Use brush tools to cut people out precisely
• Use pen tools to make signatures
• How to move text around and make information stand out
• How to change the colour of text
• How to change certain letters different

• Make a photo black and white and then add colour to important parts of the images
• How to make shapes and then change their opacities
• How to accurately position certain objects to make them stand out

• How to make sure that each little part of my magazine looks effective and like a real music magazine

MOST OF ALL...

I have been able to get a thorough understanding and knowledge of how to use PHOTO SHOP and all it's features!

PROGRESSION

Things I have learnt from constructing my media product...

Learning:

• I have learnt more about layout within a magazine
• I have learnt different codes and conventions

• I have learnt that certain colours don't go with each other
• Black, red and white are primarily the main colours in classical music magazines

• I learnt about spacial awareness in my magazine
• Having too much on a page can look really bad (Like my Prospectus contents page)

• Thirds is very important
• I followed the normal classical music magaizne layout but added my own twists

• A variety of different photos
• A variety of different sized photos and different effects on the photos (E.g. Cutting)

NOTICEABLE

I believe there is a noticeable progression from my preliminary task to my final media product.

I am quite proud of how far I have come in terms out learning so many different skills whilst constructing my media product
