Cities had brick houses, drainage systems, water supply and metallurgy industry
The cities of Mohenjo-daro and Harappa contained between 30000 and 60000 individuals
It is also called Harappa Civilization because of the first sites that was excavated

Indus Valley civilization had a writing system which today remains a mystery

DECLINE AND END
Main cities were gradually abandoned
The main cause was probably the drying of the Sarawasti river
Over the course of several centuries, the Aryans settled down in those cities and took up agriculture
