PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Career Cluster

Brenden Russell

Field

  • I have focused my choices amongst the Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics carrer cluster

Common Skills

  • All the careers in this field require a university or college education, and most, if not, all of the jobs involve mathematics.

Choice #1: Physicist

  • I am interested in exploring the depths of curiosity of the universe, and I would like to be involved in this field for that reason.
  • A con of this field would be the idea of research becoming more stressful than productive, as the work of a physicist is not always consistent.

Choice #2: Mathematician

  • I am interested in this field, because I wish to explore our interpretation of the language of the universe. Also, I have always wanted to teach at a post-secondary level.
  • A con of this career would perhaps be the demand of mathematicians in the work force being less than that of the amount of mathematicians there actually are.

Choice #3: Environment Restoration Scientist

  • This field interests me, because I believe it will be an important aspect of our future. Our planet is not in a healthy state, and we need new understandings on how to approach climate change.
  • A con of this field would be the lack of productivity, because there will always be some large business owner, such as an oil company, who won't want a new technology taking from their revenue.

More jobs in this field

  • Electrical Engineer
  • Atmospheric Scientist
  • Agriculture Engineer
