• The Rockies are located between the Great Plains on the east

• The Saint Lawrence River flows in a roughly north-easterly direction
• Lake Champlain and the Ottawa, Richelieu, Saguenay, and Saint-François rivers drain into the St. Lawrence.
• The saint Lawrence River is also known in french(Fleuve Saint-Laurent)
