Who is Pythagoras?
Pythagoras was a Greek philosopher and a mathematician in the BC era, he was born and died in Italy. He was born on the island of Samos and travelled widely in his youth.
Pythagoras made influential contributions to philosophy and religion in the late 6th century BC.

A2 + B2 = C2
The sequence is a Pythagorean theorem. In any right angle, the area of the square whose side is hypotenuse (the side opposite the right angle) is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares whose sides are the two sides that meet at a right angle.
