SPORTS PERFORMACE

STRENGTH, SPEED, AND AGILITY DEVELOPMENT

OUR MISSION

  • To provide student-athletes with an opportunity to build sport specific skills and talents
  • In hope of giving them the tools necessary to surpass the competition
  • Teaching students the importance of proper form and technique
  • Providing them with a lifelong passion for health & physical fitness

  • Proper form & technique
  • Strength & Power development using resistance training
  • Speed & Agility enhancement using plyometrics
  • Build sport specific skills through the use of weight training
  • To build the student-athlete's confidence in their abilities

OUR FACILITY

EQUIPMENT

  • Four cable towers with numerous attachments
  • Dumbbell rack with weights ranging from 5 to 100 lbs
  • Nautilus Squat Rack & Smith Machine
  • 12 Different Auxiliary lift machines
  • 4 Treadmills & 6 Ellipticals

MISC

  • More than a ton (2,000 lbs) in additional plate weights

SYNERGY 360

  • An all-inclusive piece of Functional & Sports performance training
  • Accommodates 2-6 people in a circuit training format
  • Includes: TRX Suspension Training, Mobile platform (I.e. Box jumps)
  • Trampoline ball return, Everlast Punching Bag, Battle Rope, etc.
  • 4-12 lbs Medicine Balls, 15-40 lbs Kettlebells

ADDITIONAL sPACE

  • Small group fitness room for bootcamp style workouts
  • Extra space for agility & plyometric training
  • A football field sized grass area for outdoor training

THE COACH

  • B.S. Kinesiology-Sports Science (U of M- Twin Cities)
  • ACSM Certified Personal Trainer (4 years experience)
  • 100+ hours of Athletic Training & Injury Rehabilitation (Iowa State)
  • Currently preparing for Certified Sports & Conditioning Coach Exam
  • A passion for helping young student-athletes reach their highest potential

THE wORKOUTS

  • Weighted Burpees & MTN Climbers ( 3 x 30 sec)
  • Box Jumps & Walking Lunges ( 3 x 15-20)
  • DBs Push-ups & Dips ( 2 x 10-20)
  • Cable Chest Flies & Squatting Shoulder Press
  • Battle Rope Slams & Agility Ladder Drills

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • Program starts on February 18th, 2014
  • 10 week program- 2 workouts/week
  • Tuesdays/Thursdays at 3:30 & 4:15
  • Groups of 3-5 students (ages 14-18)
  • Price: $220 for non-members, $180 for members
