What is the story of WWII (axis vs allies)?
The axis was trying to take over most countries(Japan Germany and Italy) Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and US joined the war.

WHY DID THE US GET INVOLVED IN WWII

• Japan bombed Pearl Harbor in 1941
• Germany was attacking Jews
• The axis was trying to take over most countries
• Which would lead to a bigger war if the U.S. Didnt join then
• Italy and germany declared war on the U.S.

HOW DID WWII AFFECT THE US

• Became a world power economically
• (Already world power (physically/militarily) because of WWI)
• People needed labor during the war
• Which ended racial and religous discrimination
• Families were torn apart and the economy changed

CASUALTIES

How it ended-
Germany surrendered, and then Japan surrendered and the papers were signed on Sept. 2, 1945 which ended the war.
