Rule 1 : Protect Your Privacy
-Do not share your private information publicly online.
-Review app's privacy settings and opt out of any sharing options you're not comfortable with.
-Check or turn off cookies in your browser settings.
-Review the privacy

Rule 2: Be careful who you trust online.
-Don't share private information with strangers.
-Never meet an online friend alone. Always go with a trusted adults so don't get kidnapped.
-Be careful who you "friend". Or your private get exposed to the world.

Rule 3:Protect Your Passwords
-Never share your passwords. Not even to your friends only tale trusted adults.
-Use strong passwords.
-Use unique and different passwords. So you don't get hacked as easily.

Rule 4:Know and Avoid Internet Schemes and Scams
-Think before you click. You could be clicking on a scam.
-If it looks to good to be true it probably is. Plus just don't your information.
-Before giving out private information make sure the website is secure.
-Never click on suspicious links or messages. Yet again don't click on it
-Be careful what you download. Or you might be download a computer virus.

Rule 6:Don't Be Fooled By Fake!
-Be a skeptic and analyze for bias.
-Investigate the source: URL, Author, Publisher.
-Follow the "rule of 3": compare 3 sources of information.
-Check the dates and contact information. -Look for more info and check the facts.

Rule 7:Know and Follow Copyright
-Determine Fair Use by using the 4 factors:
Purpose, Amount, Nature and effect
-Don't plagiarize or pirate original works-there could be consequences.

-Always give credit to the creator.

Rule 8: Don't be mean behind the screen, Stand up to CyberBullying
-Be an Up-stander not a bystander.
-Tell an trusted adult.
-Print or save evidence.
-Block and Report CyberBullies. -Ignore a CyberBully - don't comment back
