• By keeping your mind busy, you can avoid the risk of getting bored.
• If you find yourself getting bored in class, try doing what engaged students do, even when you are not engaged.

PROCRASTINATION

• To procrastinate is to put something off that is unpleasant. Example: Homework
• Instead of telling yourself "I will do it later", get up and do it now.

LEVELS OF LISTENING

• Keep your mind focused on school work in class and other things outside of class.
• When you find yourself getting distracted in class, tell yourself "Not now" and go back to thinking about school.
