His Inventions
- Benjamin first created bifocals in the 1780's
- The bifocals had split lenses one half was to see far
- The bottom was for close distances
- Benjimin also discovered lightning and the lightning rod
- The lightning rod was to keep lightning from hitting buildings

My Reaction
I was surprised how much Ben Franklin impacted the alliances America made during the revolution and the courage it took to fight for the patriot cause at the center of the British.
Early Life
- Benjamin went to a boarding school and was later expelled
- He discovered and attempted to discover lightning in various attemps
- He was also at one point a colonel in a militia
- He started the American Philosophy Society

I never realized before how much impact Benjamin Franklin had not only to unite the French with the patriots, but also go to the source of the enemy and fight for the patriot cause.
