Nomadic Society and its effects on trade.

In nomadic society there are two classes, nobles and commoners. Nomadic societies adapted to the arid land that they lived on. Central Asia lacked a good amount of rain, and people cannot live off of grasses and shrubs, and they wasn't any large rivers to create an irrigation system. Animals could survive on the grasses and shrubs so the nomadic peoples took advantage of this and raised herds of various different animals.

Turkish military expansion including that of the Seljuks.

The expansion happened when the nomadic leaders began organizing confederations with a khan or leader. The nomadic military wielded lots of power because of their outstanding Calvary.

How Genghis Khan attained so much power.

The empire was strengthened by Ghengis Khan, he chose high positions based on talent and loyalty.

How the Mongols were organized politically? (Who did Khan choose for important posts?)

They were very loyal to their kin which was organized into families, clans, and tribes. They often allied with Turkish people and at first strong kinship loyalties made it hard for the mongols to expand on a large scale. But Chinggis khan made the mongol tribes into a powerful alliance making it one if the largest empires ever.

Mongolian rule under Kublai Khan.

Resistance was eliminated throughout China, several invasions were launched against South Asia. He was an big supported of Buddhism and provided welfare for the poor, and was religiously tolerant.
