Chris Johnson is a running back for the New York Jets. He started his career with the Titans. He is one of the fastest players in the NFL. He holds the record for having the most 80+ yard plays.

Adrian Peterson is arguably the best running back in the league right now. He's also in the talks of being the best running back period. He almost broke the rushing record last year, even though he suffered an ACL tear the season before.

Marshawn Lynch is now being looked at as one the the elite backs in the NFL. He is one of the hardest runners the NFL has seen in years, which has helped him carry his team to the Super Bowl and win. Many players and fans have nicknamed him beast mode.

There has been a big debate in the NFL about having one really good back or having a few decent backs. Some say it's better to have a few good backs. Others say it's better to have one superstar back and just have a player to give him a break now and then.
