  • The Andes goes through Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
  • The average height of Andes Mountains is approximately 4,000 meters

  • It depends on the elevation but it is usually cold, wet, and almost uninhabitable.
  • The Polylepis forest is located in the Andes Mountains.
