ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

  • St. Ignatius of Loyola was one of 13 children
  • Wrote the book Spiritual Exercises
  • Helped found the Society of Jesus

ST. PETER FABER

  • Was a Shepard with his father when he was young
  • Was roommates with St. Francis Xavier in college
  • Had an incredible memory, which he would use to learn the Bible and the Church’s sermons

ST. FRANCIS XAVIER

  • Lived in a castle when he was a child
  • Earned a Masters’ Degree
  • Taught philosophy at the University of Paris

ST. PETER CLAVER

  • Left Spain and his family for the Caribbean when he was 19
  • Constantly tried to help and heal the slaves entering North America
  • Baptized an estimated 300,000 slaves in his life.

ST. ALOYSIUS GONZAGA

  • His parents wanted him to be a military hero.
  • Teaching God’s Word when he was only 11
  • Worked in a Jesuit hospital during the plague.

All of these men have made an everlasting impact on our society, and we have to be grateful for all the things these people have done. We also need to learn about the incredible things these people did during there lives as well.
