Location
Marine biome is found in 5 main oceans: the Pacific, the Atlantic, the Indian, the Arctic and the Southern ocean.

Climate Information
Marine biome experiences an average temperature of 39 degrees Fahrenheit (4 degrees Celsius). The ocean biome is naturally colder at the South Pole, but as you approach the equator, it becomes warmer because the sun rays strike the water surface directly. Marine species are continually impacted by any change in climatic condition. The oceans are frequently disturbed by oceans waves and currents. This phenomenon causes typhoons and hurricanes, which may not have any impact on many marine species.

Animal Adaptations
Tiger Shark Tiger Sharks have sharp teeth to devour their prey. They are consummate scavengers, with excellent senses of sight and smell and a nearly limitless menu of diet items. Clown Fish First, this particular species has more rounded caudal fins than other anemonefish, making it a naturally slow, less effective swimmer. These fins, however, enable the fish to make quick darting movements.Stingray like their grayish-brown color that helps them camouflage themselves on the ocean floor. They have great senses and use their ampullae of Lorenzini to feel electrical pulses given off by their prey. Grey Whale Their main source of food is small crustacean-like amphipods and tubeworms. Grey Whales have long streamlined bodies to effortlessly glide through the water. Eel a snake-like, streamlined body coated in mucus and no pectoral or pelvic fins. Their camouflaged coloring helps them blend in with their surroundings and ambush prey. Seahorse the ability to use camouflage and change the color of their body. Long snouts help them find food, and excellent vision and eyes that can move independently are great for avoiding predators.

Plant AdaptationsPhytoplankton The smallest plants thriving in the marine waves. It also helps the seaweed keep water inside and not be dried out completely by the sun.biome are phytoplankton. Adaptations include: flat bodies, lateral spines, oil droplets, floats filled with gases, sheaths made of gel-like substances, and ion replacement.Red algae Red algae are the largest and most diverse plant species in the marine biome. Some even stick themselves to corals and create reefs eventually. Coral That is, they have their own natural protection. They produce a kind of sunblock, called a fluorescent pigment. Sea Cabbage sea lettuce include the way its grows in the water and a maximized surface area, which ensure that it is able to grow where no other plants can, such as on rocky ocean and sea shores. Many species that grow in harsh conditions, such as sewage and water that contains organic matter. Sea Anemones Due to their lack of mobility and soft-bodies, anemones would be very susceptible to predators. However, adaptations to these limitations such as their stinging tentacles, have made sea anemones successful in terms of habitat range and predation. Seaweed Fronds of seaweeds are very tough, and this is helpful for the plant's survival. This toughness allows the seaweed to avoid being torn by strong ocean
