  • The Fairies are that of the personality of a crazed bothersome partygoers. The Fairies are like partygoers since they are both bothersome and cause problems in each of their worlds. The Royals in " A Mid Summers Night Dream" are similar to the rich in our society. The Royals are like the rich in various ways because they both share a life of luxury and fame. The Rich also have a higher authority over the poor as they are usually celebrities, politicians and successful business owners. The workers in "A Mid Summers Night Dream" are the most like the middle and lower class in our society. The workers are similar to our society because they must work to sustain a suitable life. The workers are also similar because they they live in houses and towns alike the way we do. In "A Mid Summers Night Dream" the three groups Fairies, Royals and Workers are similar to our society in many ways whether it be riches, rags lifestyle and look.

  • The "A Mid Summers Night Dream" play we saw differed from its illustrated classic counterpart. The play was in the setting of a school study hall and based itself around feelings of teenagers alike that of the illustrated classic. The play and the illustrated classic are different in the way like the way the scenes are performed, though they followed close to the same script. The play was said in modern English and the illustrated classic was said in a Shakespeare like modern English. There is one large difference, the large difference is in the play there is a narrator and it is not Puck. The narrator is a person outside of the story. These are the ways that the play and the illustrated classic differ from one another.

  • In the play I played Snug. Snug was a worker alongside Bottom. Snug was one of the characters who takes part in the play they will show to Theseus and Hippolyta for their wedding. In the play he plays the lion. Snug is an important character not exactly in the real play but the play within the play, Pyramus and Thisbe . Snug is important in the play within the play because he is the lion which attacks Thisbe and knocks off a piece of cloth which he covers in blood from a previous feast. This causes Pyramus to believe that Thisbe has perished. Pyramus cannot live without Thisbe so he kills himself, all because the lion got a piece of cloth from Thisbe.

  • "The Course of True Love Never Did Run Smooth"means that love is not true if it is not perfect. There is no way love is true if there are no differences or disagreements. In AMSND the quote is said because there are various love problems through the story. This is also true for real life as half of marriages lead to divorce. Love must take unexpected turns as it does in AMSND, there are also unexpected turns in real life as I will explain. Love cannot be smooth and differences can actually help, for example a couple wants to spend money. One wants to spend the money on a car and the other wants a boat, because they disagree they decide to spend the money on a vacation which leads to them loving one another more. As I have shown you the course of true love never did run smooth , I have proven how this relates to real life as differences can draw one to another.

  • "Love Looks Not With the Eyes but With the Mind" means looks do not matter. This quote is said in AMSND because Hermia loves Lysander but her father Egeus thinks Demetrius seems more suitable for his daughter. Egeus had never met Lysander so he only saw him and formed his opinions. This can relate to real life because you may not love someone for their looks, but you may love them for their personality. By personality I mean the way the person treat you and the way the person acts. Someone may look pleasant but their personality may be bad so you do not like them. On the flip side someone may look bad or mean and then you meet them and they are actually pretty cool. So as I have explained to you looks do not matter in various examples you now know what the quote "Love looks not with the eyes but the mind" truly means.

  • Shakespeare is the king of literature without a doubt. In school Shakespeare was required to learn, meaning he had to write and read Latin and English. I believe due to having to learn Latin it strengthened his literature. Shakespeare also lost his only son Hamnet, this means his riches cannot go to anyone because females did not have very many rights. Shakespeare had a very interesting life though his son was lost it made his literature have more depth and underlying meanings. Finally shake Speares carrer was ended abruptly. Shakespeare's career was ended because the Globe Theatre burned down. The Theatre was burned down do to a faulty cannon.

  • The Globe Theatre, one of the most famed theaters to ever be. The glob theatre had three different sections on its stage The "Heavens", "Main Stage", and "Hell" which I will explain individually. First heaven, a canopy which protected actors from sun and rain. The heavens also contained a hut which was used for storage. Secondly the main stage, the main action took place in the play like battles, forests, and cityscapes. Finally "Below Stage" referred to as "Hell". Actors who portrayed ghosts as well as witches and phantoms could rise or descend through the door built into the main stage. All three of these places played a big role in plays which was to make them more realistic and authentic.

  • Shakespeare's sonnet 73, a lovely sonnet consisting of 3 quatrains and one couplet. The first quatrain you are introduced to the speaker who is seemingly depressed as he states the metaphor of a tree that had lost all its leaves. The second quatrain the speaker light slowly fading to dark which is a metaphor of young turning to old. In the third quatrain the speaker compared him self to the glowing remnants of a fire, the logs that had once been there with strong fire have again slowly died down and are going to burn out soon. Now the couplet, the speaker says that love must be strengthened because the person you love will soon depart and like the fire they will extinguish. The sonnet seems to be about love and it harshness. Due to the details the the author reveals the sonnet is about a loss, because it is by Shakespeare the loss may be his son hamnet. The overall theme of this story is for your love not to be weakened by death.
