2.
SYMMETRICAL BALANCE
The design is the same on both sides
Same staircase design, lamps, & patterns
If cut in half, it's the same on both sides
It gives a sense of formality and equality
3.
ASYMMETRICAL BALANCE
Same amount of weight on both sides
Weight is even throughout the room
Uses different pieces so it's not continuously the same
Gives more casual & inviting sense to the viewer
4.
RADIATION
The center is the flowers
Everything flows around
It's design is like a sun, it radiates outward
Making the flower the focal point
5.
REPETITION
The color white is repeated throughout this photo
Between the white there is spaces of blue every time
Stable and organized balance throughout photo

6.
GRADATION
The color shows progression in the bowl
It starts with red & goes from Orange to yellow
They blend together perfectly
Color is easy on eye because of its transition

7.
TRANSITION
Curved lines on the mirror, headboard, and chair
Allows eye to easily travel the room
Easier way to observe the room

8.
EMPHASIS
The flowers are the focal points
The purple color catches the eye first
The purple leads your eyes to the vase and fountain

Flower Factor
9.
PROPORTION
The water bottle is bigger than the man
Very unrealistic
The man should be a lot bigger than the water bottle
10.
SCALE
The rooms strongest feature is frames
The frames ratio is 3:2
Displays the laws of proportion accurately
Surround couch & table to make it the focal points
11.
HARMONY
Incorporates many principles & elements
Different textures are evident throughout
Room has proportional sized furniture
Gives a comfortable sense to the viewers
