Lit Reflections

My goal for all of the Literary Essays are to include different and great evidence for my reasons (this is in craft)

Another goal for me was to turn in all my writing on time. I have a problem with this because I am a perfectionist and I keep redoing my essay which took me forever. I know this isn’t exactly a writing goal but I know I need to work on it.

These next slides shows how much my evidence has changed though all of my essays.

This was my first Literary essay so I knew it wasn’t going to be perfect. But I didn’t add quotes to this essay so it didn’t sound as good. I made sure I had a lot of evidence which I did have so I was proud of that.

For my second Literary essay I tried really hard to add quotes, and I did it! I did end up summarizing the story too, though. In my next essay I would like to just have quotes so the evidence is more powerful that summarizing.

I was very proud of how this essay turned out. I had quotes in my essay instead of me just summarizing the text. I felt like the quotes made it sound better because I pick out powerful words from the text. I also turned this in on time.

Over all in this unit I think I improved. At first I wasn’t very good at Narrative writing, but now that I practiced I think I got better!
