Manu is a famous chef that was born in Nantes France and moved to Australia where he became such a renowned cook after being taught in England. Both his parents and his grandfather were chefs or cooks so it seems that he was destined to be one as well and carry the legacy of his family of chefs.
Manu is currently on many Australian cooking shows. These include: Masterchef, My kitchen rules and Ready steady cook. On these shows he plays the part of the judge where he tastes the foods that the contestants have cooked and criticises them on whether it is terrible or amazing and scores them on it.
In the year 2013, Manu started his own television series called "My France" where he shows around where he grew up and goes through the backstory of his life and what it was like living in France. This show was a huge television hit and racked in lots and lots of viewers Australia wide.
As expected, Manu is very passionate for French foods and loves bringing the distinguished tastes of his home country to Australia so everyone can have "a little taste of France" without having to leave their state. Working in a French restaurant in the U.K. he has become very prestigious with his French dishes and has become an expert on the subject.
Manu still has his heart set on cooking for many more years to come and will continuously be attending new seasons of MKR and other various cooking shows in Australia and at the same time, working restaurants and looking for new cooking talent wherever he travels to.
Manu is currently one of the most recognisable chefs in Australia to date. He is known as a chef but now many know that he was also a trained professional clown when he was a teenager and used to work for the circus, because of this he is always found juggling items in the kitchen and having a very funny personality.
