  • One of the main things is do not move firewood from oneplace to another without a USDA shield or MDA shield of approval
  • Here are some of the reasons why you should not move firewood:it could contain emerald ash borer or gypsy moth larvae witch infect the trees and make the trees die faster

FORESTRY LAND USE IN MN

  • Here are some of the regulations for using the land in state forests: You can only use dead tree branches from the ground to use in a campfire and you can go hunting in a state forest with the permit for the animal that your going to hunt. If you want to use your own firewood then you need the Shield of approval from USDA or the MDA

HOW FORESTRY AFFECTS THE ENVIORNMENT

  • The modern day plague for forestry is Deforestation which is one of the worst things to happen if this continues all the forests will be gone in at least a 100 years. The reason why this is happening is because the world population is growing and the more it grows the more forests we will take down and its sometimes natures fault because of wild fires and tornados this cannot be controlled though

HOW HAS THE CHANGE IN ENV AFFECTED FORESTRY

  • Heres somethings you should always check if your a MN woodland owner you should always see if their are woodpeckers going to the trees and when you cut the trees down you should look if theirs any weird tunnels this could be a sign that you have EAB(Emerald ash borer) or Gypsy Moths which badly affects the environment and can lead to outbreaks in the trees

  • The Red Wing shoe company has been making these short films of the extraordinary jobs that forest cutters do its also a help to the shoe company because they could get more profit of the people who buy their shoes or boots
