PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE UNIVERSE

SCIENCE

Universe

the universe is the vast measurement of space, with billions of galaxies alone.

Galaxy

The galaxy is our milky way, extending from the sun to the oort cloud.

The solar system

The solar system includes planets orbiting the huge sun.

OUR EARTH

earth is the planet we live, see, and breathe on.

GRAVITY

Gravity is the pull of an object; as the earth pulls us down.

STARS

Stars are huge masses that burn hydrogen to helium.

Solar Flares

solar flares are violent explosions of magnetic energy on stars.

star Deaths

Star explosions occur when it is the end of a star's life.

Star deaths

this occurs when the star starts to build material, such as copper, iron, ect.

Star deaths

AS it builds material, the star becomes heavier.

STAR DEATHS

it becomes so heavy even atoms are crushed.

STAR DEATHS

gravity will give up, as the star turns into a supernova.

Supernovas

these are when a star's surface extends outwards, until  it explodes.

Legacy

after a star dies, depending on it's mass and size, will change.

White dwarfs

a white dwarf is what our sun will become of, because it's smaller that other stars.

Pulsars

pulsars are what is left over of a bigger star. it produces light forming north and south.

Pulsars

these lights turn and produce for millions of years.

BLACK holes

massive stars are the producers of life; also the destroyers. When it dies; it becomes of this,.

MOONS

moons are considered one-kilometer wide boulders orbiting planets.

MERCURY

Mercury is the first planet orbiting the sun, which a year there is 88 days there.

MERCURY

Mercury has no moons, but it is pretty interesting.

MERCURY

Temperature reaches -279 F (-173 C) at night and 801 F (427 C) during the day.

VENUS

Venus is the second planet from the sun, taking an orbit in 224 days, with the Smoothest orbit in the solar system.

VENUS

Venus is the hottest planet, though second, reaching 872 F (467 C)

VENUS

NO MOONs here!
