on Feb. 21, 1936 in Houston, Texas.
Barbra Jordan worked in the Texas State Senate for four years.
She won the Presidential Medal and the National Women's Award.
Barbra Jordan wanted to still help people but she didn't want to help in the Senate, so, she became a TEACHER
She died from pneumonia on January 17, 1996
