PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The velociraptor's name means:"speedy thief" or "terrible claw". The velociraptor might have a small brain but it is intelligent. The velociraptor hunt in packs for they're prey. Velociraptors are carnivores that means they eat meat. The velociraptor lived in the Cretaceous period. The velociraptor has sharp claws one of them are able to rip apart flesh. The big claw on the velociraptors foot is the one that is able to rip the flesh of the velociraptor's prey.
Velociraptors are very small,the size of a chicken or a little bigger. The velociraptor lived in Asia. The velociraptor and it's pack attack they're prey altogether. Velociraptor was a very fast dinosaur. They can eat small dinosaurs,the eggs,babies,and small mammals.
The velociraptor is built for hunting. They're bones were lightweight so they could run quickly on it's two back legs when chasing they're prey for a meal. The tail is very important, the tail bones were surrounded by long bony rods that allowed velociraptor to hold it's tail very stiff when running,this helped velociraptors keep they're balance when going at great speed.
