WATER FILTER

MATERIALS

• Plastic Bottle
• Coffee Filters
• Rocks (Different Sizes)
• Netting
• Sand
• Thin Paper Towels
• Rubber Bands
• Cutting tools

PREPERATION

• Gather all your materials you need
• Careful cut a medium sized hole
• Get water, and combine the dirt into it
• Stir until mixed completely
• Place a cup underneath the filter

STEPS TO BUILD

• Make sure your bottle can easily stand
• Put netting as first layer,
• Use the largest rocks after netting
• Then put the smaller sized rocks underneath it
• Layer the sand under both layers of rocks
• Put the coffee filters (or paper towels) on the hole at the bottom
• Use the rubber bands to keep them in place

Slowly pour the water into the filter, and just watch and wait!

• The more items, the better
• It's difficult to drain everything
• It was hard to find different ideas
