WATER ROOTS

  • THE WATER ENTERS THE PLANT THROUGH THE ROOTS
  • THE ROOT HAIRS HELP GET THE WATER TOO.
  • THE ROOTS ALSO HELP TO MAKE SURE THE PLANTS DON’T GO ANYWHERE

STEM XYLEM

  • The water goes up the stem
  • The water gets to the stem through the xylem
  • The best way to explain a xylem is like a straw. It brings up the water for the plant.

Stomates guard cells
The stomates are controlled by the guard cells

The stomates open and close to allow the intake of carbon dioxide and the release of oxygen and water vapor.

WATER VAPOR

  • Water vapor starts by the sun heating the water
  • The steam goes up and the clouds absorbs it
  • Then the wind moves the clouds
  • The clouds get too much water in them and then rains it out
  • The cycle repeats
