  • I used Adobe Photoshop to produce my front cover as it was compulsory. Using Photoshop wasn’t as challenging at all to use because I used it to produce the front cover of my college magazine and that I have used Photoshop in the past many times so Photoshop for me was very easy to use. To add to this, I played with different effects on making my image darker or lighter.

  • I used InDesign for my contents page and double page. Though, I had used InDesign for my college magazine as well it was still a bit challenging because InDesign doesn’t divide your work into layers like Photoshop does so I found it very difficult to grip on each item that was placed on the page. Moreover I had never used in design before so I found it difficult to get used to it and know where the tools are located and where they are now. After using InDesign for a reasonable amount of time I do not like I at all and I feel like it’s very hard and would use it as a last resort.
