HERO
In this story, the hero is more than one person at different times. Most of the story, Katniss Everdeen is the hero. She saves herself and Peeta many times through out the story.

Evil Figure with good heart:
In this story, Effie Trinket would be the evil figure with the good heart. She works with the capitol and she appears to be mean, but she supports Katniss and Peeta.

Damsel in distress:
The Damsel in distress would be Peeta. Throughout the story, Peeta always needs help and always seems to be in trouble.

Mentor:
In The Hunger Games, the mentor is Haymitch. He gives Peeta and Katniss his full support and is with them every step of the way.

Evil Creature:
In the story, President Snow is the evil creature. He manipulates all of the capitol that he is good, but he is the cause of The Hunger Games, and many of the deaths in district twelve only because he frowns apon the fact that people love Katniss and the image she brings.
