Problem: Is water efficiency becoming less efficient for human consumption?

WHY IS WATER A PROBLEM?

  • Water is a scarce resource that we pay fractions of it for tap.
  • We use it for drinking and washing etc it helps us in every way.
  • Water seems to be becoming less efficient and whether it will help with our drought and water problems is the question.

EFFICIENCY

  • Conservation through water efficiency measures and water management practices may be the best way to help us solve our water problems.
  • American Rivers seek to protect natural sources of water and the ecosystems support fight pollution and reducing human consumption.
  • For use of water systems results in higher demand for water at power plants.

HUMAN CONSUMPTION

  • Human activity and natural sources are reducing available water.
  • Effecting urbanization, population growth, increased living standards, competition for water, and pollution.
  • movement of large numbers of people from the countryside to towns and cities, demands for greater food security and higher living standards, increased competition between different uses of water resources, and pollution from factories, cities, and farmlands. Climate change and natural variability in the distribution and occurrence of water further complicate the sustainable development of our water resources.
