Legally prescribed opioids include Demerol, Dilaudid, Morphine, Codeine, Percocet, OxyCotin, Vicodin & others.

These drugs can cause a physical dependence. This means that a person relies on the drug to prevent withdrawal symptoms. Over time, more of the drug is needed for the same effect. This is called drug tolerance.

Year after year, drug companies shipped pain pills in increasingly stronger formulations.

The U.S. is experiencing an epidemic of drug overdoses & deaths.

2016 the FDA required immediate release opioids to carry a warning of risk of abuse, addiction and death.

Now immediate/extended release opioids must provide information regarding Serotonin syndrome, Adrenal insufficiency & Androgen deficiency.

Big pharma has created the crisis and now they are making money selling medicine to treat people harmed by the crisis they created.

Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS). Symptoms babies may have if mothers used addicting drugs during pregnancy. This is often called withdrawl.
