HOW SAINT EUROSIA DIED...
- One account of Eurosia's reports that she was a Christian living in Spain after the conquest by the Moors
- Having been betrothed against her will to a Moor, she fled and hid in a cave

SAINT EUROSIA DEATH CONTINUED
- A search party discovered her by following the smell of woodsmoke
- Then they dragged her out of the cave by her hair and beheaded her

I CHOSE THIS SAINT BECAUSE...
- I thought her story is very interesting and because bad weather is natural cause
- Also, Ariel thought it was much more difficult to pronounce than the other patron saint of bad weather which was Saint Medard

HOW IT TIES INTO EARTH DAY
- Bad weather helps the environment by evening the population of both animals and humans alike
- It gives the environment water which gives food and oxygen from trees
