THE SHIRE

• The Shire is the home of the hobbit . The hobbits live in houses that were engraved in to hills. Their are currently 44 hobbit holes.

THE LONELY MOUNTAIN

• The lonely mountain's real name is mountain cook. Unlike in the hobbit the mountain does not have any statues or inner tunnels that lead to gold.: All this mountain is a great hiking experience and is a pretty site.

All and all I think that middle earth New Zealand is a great vacations spot. So if you want to go to lonely mountain which leans over you like a teacher making sure you're doing your work or if you want to relax in a hobbit hole middle earth New Zealand is for you I said just this vacation spot.
