PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Adaptation

  • when we talk about adaptation is a very common thing for a whole human being and a lot for living beings, all of us adapt on new things when necessary and if we need them.
  • all of us adapt either people like animals, I say that people or humans adapt like animals. example of a person who adapts.
  • animal adaptation
  • as I have said before that all of us can adapt on many things like animals, an example of an animal that adapts. an animal that can't fly high and his mother teachs him how to do it and over time adapts and already knows how to fly high like others and know how to catch things flying something he didn't know but learned and adapted it already knows how to do it as if he had been doing it before.

Humans adaptation

  • children from birth drink breast milk or formula already when I'm older they start eating fruits or smoothies and so they adapt all that and get used to

adaptation

  • The three basic types of adaptations, based on how the genetic changes are expressed, are structural, physiological and behavioral adaptations. Most organisms have combinations of all these types.

Types of Adaptations

  • Structural:An organism shapes its appearance through structural adaptations. Desert foxes have large ears for heat radiation and Arctic foxes have small ears to retain body heat
  • Physiological : Based on body chemistry and metabolism, physiological adaptations usually don't show from the outside. They consist of things like more efficient kidneys for desert animals like kangaroo rats, compounds that prevent blood coagulation in mosquito saliva, or the presence of toxins in plant leaves to repel herbivores.
  • Behavioral Adaptations that affect how an organism acts are called behavioral adaptations. Bears hibernate to escape cold; birds and whales migrate to warmer winter climates. Desert animals are active at night during hot summer weather.
