a positive or negative number

Terminating Decimals
a decimal numeral in which after a finite number of decimal places

Ex. 2.5 0.25

Repeating decimals
a decimal that repeats the same number over and over

Ex. It's a decimal that has a line over its number

Square roots
a quantity of which a given quantity is the square

Ex. Square root of 9 is 3
