SETTING (ATMOSPHERE)

• The atmosphere is very rushed, since they are trying to find clues from their past before the Branch finds them. As the mood is more afraid due to the consequences from escaping.

Introduction

• Anna comes and visits the boys every night
• They start developing small relationships with eachother
• Anna becomes more curious and starts testing the boys while they sleep

INCITING INCIDENT

• Anna goes down to the lab and examines the boys
• She notices scars and
• tattos on their back that could possibly lead something to their past

RISING ACTION/ climax

• Connor and Riley are two boys who come from the Branch to come take the boys. As they try and grab the boys, Sam punches a guard and gets out and gets the other boys out
• Shots are fired at the guards, as the boys and Anna escape

resolution (My ending)

• Since I have not finished the book, I think Anna will find her mom and figure out what happened with her. The 4 boys will find more clues that will lead to their past, but the Branch will keep trying to find them. Also eventually I think the 4 boys and Anna will rebel against the Branch.

Theme

• The theme is Altered is too never stop having hope, if you believe in yourself, you can build confidence and become a stronger person.

Narration

• First person is used in this book, Anna is telling us about her adventerous journey

Refelction

• Personally, I have loved reading Altered so far. I haven't finished the book but I love the amount of adventure and conflict that is being shown. I also enjoy the relationships being built between the 4 boys and Anna. So far I have no dislikes. I can't wait to see what happens in the end!
