NANOTECHNOLOGY

Task 1

TASK 2

  • Nanotechnology is the study and application of minuscule items. Used in chemistry, engineering, biology, physics, materials science etc.
  • Without Nanotechnology, we would not have been able to measure and collect data off extremely small objects. It enables the scientist to control individual atoms and molecules.

NANOBIOTECHNOLOGY

  • I chose 'Nanobiotechnology'. It is the application of Nanotechnology in Biological fields. It's sister terms are Nanobiology and Bionanotechnology.
  • The study is like nanomaterial-biomolecule conjugates, used for medicine(s) or a hybrid system. Cellular engineering/DNA nanotechnology is categorised as Bionanotechnology because it revolves around working with biomolecules on the nanoscale.

THE IMPACT...

  • Bionanotechnology actually has quite a large impact on us and our surroundings. Without such technology, us as people would have scarce knowledge upon biology and the nanoscale. We would not know too far into the human body and how it works. Thanks to this data, we now know so much more beyond we ever could possibly imagine about nature, plants, animals and... ourselves.

THE FUTURE...

  • The future potential of this chosen nanotechnology source is overflowing. Nanobiotechnology can help scientists gain more data on hybrids, etc. We could then evolve and establish plentiful amounts of new information.

OVERALL -

  • To end, I am absolutely for the idea of nanotechnology, Nanobiotechnology and all of these other sources of science involving the nanoscale. I think that it is an absolute idiosyncratic way to collect more data, and expand our curious knowledge.
