DEFINITION

• A Pyrrhic victory can be defined as a victory that was won at a cost that exceeded the benefit of the outcome.

REMEMBER THE ALAMO

• Santa Anna rolled in thinking he was hot stuff
• He ended up winning but suffering great causality
• He got captured later that same year cause he did not finish the job

CONGRESS

• This year, the Republicans ended up winning the majority in congress, but they did so by putting unqualified officials into office. They won the house, but ended up getting nothing done for the country.

MY LOSS

• One time I was out fishing and I decided that I wanted to fish in the middle of the lake so I swam out with my pole and fished while treading water. The fishing was better, but when I hooked up I lost the fish because I was struggling in the water.
