WHERE AND HOW IS IT USED

  • Agriculture/ farming is primarily in southern Minnesota.
  • The crops that are harvested are used for feeding animals, biofuel and some for human consumption.

LAWS AND REGULATIONS

  • No contaminating crops or feed that is consumed by animals.
  • You could possibly be shut down if you have a dirty barn that is not up to the U.S. standards .

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS

  • Some of the environmental impacts of agriculture are land conversion, habitat loss, wasteful water consumption, soil erosion and degradation.

EFFECTS ON HUMANS

  • Products we use everyday come from plants, animals, and by-products.
  • It there were no farmers there would be no food farmers provide people with fruits, vegetables, meat, milk, and cheese.
