What is Street dance

  • Street dance refers to contemporary vernacular dance forms that evolved in urban and suburban areas, such as towns or cities, as part of some urban culture.

Types of Street Dance

  • Hip-hop Dance
  • Funk Dance
  • House Dance
  • Rave Dance
  • Clog Dance
  • Club Dance

Hip-hop Dance

  • refers to street dance styles primarily performed to hip-hop music or that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.

Funk Dance

  • It’s a diva dance style. It takes elements from Hip Hop, Jazz, and Waacking. You get to be your own music industry star and forget everything else. This genre of dance gives you the chance to release sassiness and dance fiercely

House Dance

  • is a social dance primarily danced to house music that has roots in the clubs of Chicago and of New York. The main elements of House dance include "Footwork", "Jacking", and "Lofting".

Rave Dance

  • A rave (from the verb: to rave) is a large dance party featuring performances by DJs and occasionally live performers playing electronic music, particularly electronic dance music (EDM).

Clog Dance

  • a dance performed in clogs with rhythmic beating of the feet, especially as a traditional dance in Ireland, Scotland, and the north of England.
