Educators Roles

  • Model & Communicate
  • checking materials and resources
  • Drills
Children learn by observations so the education team must model and tell the students about health and safety.

We must make them aware of the fact that it is everyone's responsibility where ever they may be.

We must ensure that the items brought into the classroom are non-toxic and we need to be prepared for anything that may occur. Medical information must be known

Preparing students for Fire Drills, Lock Downs and making them easier for the students to deal with.

Educators

  • Routines
  • Emergency Plans
  • Feild Trips
  • Weather Related
Need to be put into place by educators but need to be taken over as a responsibility by student, they must have ownership.

Must be prepared in case of emergency, allergic reaction, serious injury (head), locked out of school during a frill.

We must know the concerns when going on Field trips.

Educators may need to speak with students about appropriate clothing for the weather before winter begins. We must also be prepared.
